Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code is a national non-profit organization working to close the gender gap in technology. Our programs educate, equip, and inspire girls with the computing skills they'll need to pursue 21st century opportunities.

Each year, the girls chose a project that could help their community with through coding. After years of being volunteers at the Sprayberry Craft Show, the club decided that they wanted to help make the Craft Show accessible to a wider community by creating and maintaining a website that can be accessed year round. The website you are on was designed and created completely by the Sprayberry Girls Who Code club.

PTSA

Sprayberry High School’s PTSA (Parent-Teacher-Student Association) is an integral part of our school’s success, and serves as a forum for parents, teachers, administrators and students to work together and discuss ways to promote quality education, strive to expand the arts, encourage community involvement, and work for a healthy environment and safe neighborhoods.

Sprayberry PTSA also provides our student members with the opportunity to make a difference by developing leadership skills, learning about the legislative process, increasing their self-esteem, and contributing to the school. In turn, adult members gain a new perspective for program development, as well as acquire a better understanding of today’s students.

Our role is to work towards the betterment of our children. We raise money so we can provide the programs and resources our students, parents and teachers want and need.
